I’m a cinematographer, and visual storyteller invested in combining my experience in documentary cinema, visual communication, and research.

My path in film and media started with me earning my BA in Communication Arts at the Lebanese American University in my hometown of Beirut. This same journey led me to Paris for an MFA in Cinematography at EICAR, and then to completing a research based MA in Media, Power, and Difference at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, where I currently reside. Back home, I built up my practice by teaming up with local and international NGOs, UN agencies, and fellow artists and creative collectives. Together, I worked with them on everything from documentaries and short films to podcasts and social impact campaigns. I have also had the privilege of teaching my practice, discovering my love for passing the craft forward; I conducted cinematography and documentary filmmaking workshops at the Lebanese International University, and mentored up-and-coming film professionals along the way.
